When does season ends?

I am new here. I plan to play POE as I am done with Diablo 3.
Should I wait for season to end and then start? Any suggestions? Warbands or Standard? Help me out. If I die in Warbands do I lose all items in stash? Last edited by bozocv on Sep 28, 2015, 3:30:02 PM

Warbands ends soon, Oct 1. A one month league with prizes and rewards starts the day after.
Warbands is the equivalent of Standard in the custom leagues. Standard never ends, never wipes and all items in Standard are yours forever. Anything you do in Warbands will be transfered to Standard at the end of the league, all items in stash will be sent to standard in remove only tabs that will be there until you remove all the items into other stash tabs. “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.”
