Cheat

Trading, why is everyone in this game such a cheat/scammer/rip off artist? Just look at the WTB section of the trading forums, WTB 30% under market price, make exalts fast!! I buy your stuff for less than it's worth! And so forth... in game, people blatantly try to rip every one off.
Taking advantage of anyone who doesn't know the current ratio's, and my favorite scam is, can you give me a cheaper price? I'm a new player. Then go look at their account and they have a level 99 character, [Removed by Support] For real.

I think trading should be regulated, GGG sets min and max prices for items, no one can sell under or over those prices. = problem solved.

This is the consequences of a free trading market.

There is nothing wrong with this...should you not want to wait for a buyer you have an option to make quick currency for a slight cost. Nothing cheating or scammy about it, it clearly says in the title what it's about...think of it like consignment with the pay up front. And it gives ppl that don't want to bother with a shop/trading a way to get rid of their stuff with little hassle. In the same breath tho, yeah there are a lot of scammers out there. Now is a good time to be playing "self found". :P

I doubt GGG would lower the price, or increase them anyways.
They'd just make rare build-enabling Uniques even more expensive than they already are, which is a fucking joke against their own model.

To answer the post: Fuckno, free market is a good thing, but being able to spam trade chat isn't.

Its not really a problem. Just let people flip items for a few chaos profit who cares. I like to play the game and avoid trading as much as possible. But other people like to spend hours in the trade chat or on poe.trade to find cheap items and flip it for a little profit.

It's not a rip off. It is a trade. If I want a quick sale, I can sell for below market. To one of those guys buying below market. Let them waste their time waiting for somebody who wants to pay a higher price. Meanwhile I have currency I didn't have before and I get right back to playing.
