"Default" League

Can we name it something else, like maybe "Exiled" league?

GGG has probably already thought of this, but "Default" league would be better served with a better title.

"Exiled" has a nice ring to it.

Pretty sure Default is called Default so that new players won't be confused as to where they should begin. If it were called "exiled" we would have all sorts of posts about what the "exiled" league is exactly..

not saying your idea is bad, it isn't at all.

But every player character in Wraeclast is exiled.

That spoiler tag doesn't do much justice.

Naming it exile, or something similar, would sound too similar to a hardcore league. If GGG were to name their official leagues, they'd have to put in (Default) or (Hardcore) to differentiate between them.


Names are nice though.

If anything, I would call hardcore league: "Exiled League".

Just thought I'd bring it up. Okay, so Hardcore is "Exiled" what would Default be?

Just thinking out loud as to what it could be called other than the plain sounding "default".

That's a difficulty level not a league.

How about "Refugee". Refugee means that the person doesn't/is away from home, but is getting taken care of. Just like softcore players are getting looked after.
