Regarding Uniques

I know..
A lot of threads and suggestions about uniques/set items.

One idea that crossed my mind:

Personalization
A very rare orb/scroll that can be used to "slightly" uppgrade an item by adding 1 effect/stat of your choice (from a xx no of choices) ex: +10% rarity , +xx to all attributes , + xx to resist , x% chance of casting/effect when crit and so on.
**And** to make the item truly "unique" , the oppurtunity to name the item , or add a suffix to the name after upgrade.

This would not be game changing in any way , but gives the owner a feeling of "one of a kind unique"
