Question about hardcore

Will my characters transfer into the new Tempest league if they are on hardcore? I was wondering if I can save my old character I had with all of its currency or would I need to reroll completely. Thanks.

No, the point of temporary leagues is everyone starting fresh.
Oh, and if you die in Tempest you go to Normal, not to Warbands. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

so what happens to our hardcore characters that we already have? Do they just go to some standardized hardcore league without any of the special league stuff (warbands/tempest) ?

" Correct. They stay where they are in the current normal hardcore league. Once the temporary leagues end, some of the mechanics used in them might be added to the base permanent leagues. "Danger is like jello, there's always room for more."

Also, any hardcore characters you create in the new league still alive when it ends will roll over into permanent hardcore with the rest of your characters/stuff. Along with your stash.
