2.0 RF viability?

I planned my 2.0 skill tree, it is not as bad as i first thought, but with the reduced mana rework we have to drop 1 of our auras, which is really sad.


Summed the regen nodes, it is the same ammount, 13.7% which can be reached.

Basically dropping vitality is the best option, since we can sustain RF with this ammount of regen (10.4 required), but it still hits hard, since we lose 1.65% regen and that is exactly 33% of the regen we have now when RF is activated. (3.3% +1.65% from vitality)

Or can deactivate determination instead, and get some armor nodes instead, liek soul and steal?

Or pick up endurance charges and try to manage them all the time? Enduring cry adds some regen on use too, so maybe this looks the least bad idea.

The other thing, that concentrated effect gets a nerf by 10% of it's dmg.

Since our dmg is already nowhere close to where it was in the old times it will have huge impact on us.
The dmg loss is like the same, when you change from doriany's catalist to something else.

What about dropping vitality (1.65 regen at 20) and picking up the unique Jewel
"Fragile Bloom"

10% increased damage taken

Will be passing 2 jewel nodes with the basic tree as we swing by the scion for EE, shaper notable etc.

Not sure how the 10% increased damage taken will impact survivability. I haven't actually played an RF guy yet, though I plan to when I get the free respecs.

Also, not sure how hard it will be to get that jewel.

That gem is the worst option.
Taking 10% more dmg for a minor regen is too much but for RF it is a suicide jewel.
Rf burns 90% of ur max hp/sec with that gem it would be 99% and what if it stacks on top of this with fire and burning dmg too
, then it will be like using vaal RF, burns u to 1 hp in an instant.
Dropping determination would be like 10% extra phys dmg.takrn but with this jewel we would take more ele dmg too which is even worse.

I checked all the gems and other than the ones that change stats to other stats(str int dex) they are not giving any useful, but if they do the penalty is too high, but everyone is free to not use them.

Would love to see +1 curse or maxresist gems, but then everyone would use those 2.

Edit:
You'd save 3pts on your tree if you went down the middle path to get to duelist. If you needed that int and dex node you could take the +30s instead and still save a point.
