How do people get 1k+ dps at lvl ~60?

Dont forget to slap a increased area of effect gem in it so it nullifies the conc effect area reduction, Rime Gaze is sweet cause its basically a 5link on a helmet with that conc effect bonus!

Also, thanks to endurance charges and 5% life/mana leach Im pretty much indenpendent of mana since I got the mana regen gem.

Thanks to you guys and your input I can faceroll stuff that I struggled with just a day ago!

Update on the gear:



The endurance charges were a big addition to my surviveability, 3 charges seems enough on top of my 2k hp, 80% allres, 5k armour. But I've been thinking of getting +1 endurance charge in order to grab that +0.2% lifereg per passive. This will boost me close to 100 lifereg, add the rejuvenation totem and I'll heal close to 200hp each second in fights.

My build just needs some polishing now. I've been thinking of removing the first 4 +melee physical dmg since they dont seem to affect anything in my build. For those points I'll grab 1 endurance charge node, maybe the two +8% dmg with maces and then work towards grabbing the templars and marauders shield mastery for a total of +6% block chance and +40% defences on shields.

Here is the new build I'm at, picked up resolute technique among other things, which gave me a huge boost to dps.

Any further tips for my build/gear and what I should aim for in the future?

Also, the first "melee" nodes in the templar tree, do they confer their respective bonus to attacks such as lightning strike or are they wasted passives? Otherwise I would happily trade them for some other passives.

Also, "reduced reserved mana" passives, do they stack additively or are they multipliers, i.e.

40 mana reserved, and one 5% reduction passive would it lead to:

1. 35% mana reserved, or
2. 40*0.95 % mana reserved?

You do not want to use DEFAULT ATTACK ever for anything. I think my default attack was bit over 1k...

Ok, now, the next step is to get hold on a really insane 1h mace and one Rime Gaze. Since I only invested in general mace nodes, I can swap freely between 2h and 1h without any penalties. I just realized that the 2h is amazing for burning down orange champions down to 5% hp and then finish them with 1h to keep the item rarity intact.

I would not use that, the -rarity and specially the -experience is a terrible negative side on that mace.

Update: New weapon from gambling with an alch

I will try to get hold of as many platinum sceptres/angelic shields as possible and then just alch them up. Im bound to get a good one sooner or later. :P
