No, it would be high school all over again. With only gamer nerds fighting it out. Actually it might be entertaining for a month or two. Then it would die a horrible death.

I actually dont care about discussions related to something else other than gameplay or some info about big major changes etc. , and I can find everything I need here on the forums.

I am sick when I go to check out whats new on reddit and I see "hey look, I created a chaos orb sculpture" or.... for example now on reddit, "I finished my collection of in-game Lore!" or.... "look this is my hideout or "this dropped in CB X days after the wipe" .. like... who the fuck cares ??

I dont wanna see stuff like that... Maybe its even here on the forums but the thing is that I dont see it because I visit only the gameplay discussion and general discussion sections. And topics like that have absolutely nothing to do here. I dont care about anything else. Thank god that shitposts like the above mentioned are sorted here on the forums and I am not forced to even look at it.

And about the upvote and downvote system on reddit. Let me make an example... lets say that guy who created the sculpture, what if I dont like it ? What if I just make a comment which says I dont like the sculpture ? Thats right.... I get downvoted to oblivion for saying my opinion out loud. Reddit accepts only PoE praising comments, everything else is downvoted... there is absolutely nothing inbetween.

A personal example and experience.... I am not ashamed to say that I am against the loot filter because I find it modding, and I dont like mods at all. I like everything vanilla.
Well saying it here on the forums is allright, I was not the only one with the same opinion. But saying it on reddit is like going to the Apple subreditt and saying hey guys Apple sux I have an Android huehuehue. Guess what will happen with that comment ?

From my personal experience reddit is full of haters and fanboys with pink glasses. I like to contribute and read stuff here on this forum. The moderators are also good. Reddit is anarchy.

Or you could downvote the statue post instead of creating a arbitrary "I don't like it post" no one cares about.

I do it all the time dont worry. But then again, remind me whats the point of comments if noone cares about the "I dont like your post" only for the "wow this is so cool" comments ?
And if something has too many upvotes and I donvote it, it is only a drop in the water. A comment is clearly visible. And this attitude of yours is what makes me hate reddit so much, the say what you want noone cares about you. You cant downvote me here, how does it feel ? Powerless.

I check reddit every once in a while, because it is the quickest way to get the latest news, whether it be a GGG post or something. It's all combined in one place.

That said, every time I go there I cringe. It's mostly toddlers posting, trying to get digital affirmation in the form of up votes.
