New to the game and genre...

So i never played this genre before and this game has a huge skill tree.i wanted to make a duelist who uses ranged attacks most of the time and i came up with this build.but i have no idea if it even works well or what should i do,i just added the things that i thought it would make it stronger/

any tips?

See, if you want a ranged duelist then it will have to be 100% specialised in range, otherwise it will be suboptimal. So you have to get rid of all the trap nodes. Also, you need life nodes. A lot. Try to get over 150% life from the tree. Never plan your build for lvl 100. Not going to happen. 100-110 points(lvl 92/93) is far more reasonable.

Even then, you can see that the duelist start isn't too good for a ranged build and by starting as a ranger you would save 3-4 points, which is pretty huge.

Oh so it is not a good choice hmm,what path should i choose for duelist then?and really thanks for the tips and build.

I was looking at the duelist builds and some of them look awesome but i find it extremely hard to understand.

im just lv 12 atm so starting over wont be a problem.
