" I made a nearly no rule subforum once and I ended up banning more users in one month than in 2 years. The first thing people did was googling how to break phpbb2 or look at the bug tracker. Then they started adding illegal content(CP, Warez, Serialz) hidden being 20000 spoiler tags. The only rule that will always stay are legal barriers and as long they exist people will even break those. " You work in shifts one person just needs to report 'lol' during each shift and one mod just needs to probate out of context and the theory has failed. The introduction of the report button also resulted in trollbumping+ retroprobations. I also saw one thread where 1 user got probated by one mod and another mod decided to probate 3 more users in the next shift. There are people enjoying playing "Temp Ban Ping Pong" aka getting other users tempbanned. | |

The point being we don't have to behave like we are contributors to Wikipedia, but we also don't have to sink to levels where you are ashamed of being seen posting here. I like the idea of tiered rules, for example if you ever made a 'flame war' thread you would still have to enforce T1 rules but it would actually be possible to do so.
I dont like that you have tiered dismissive / unconstructive posts with discriminatory / hostile behaviour though. I would have shuffled some of the rules around, though I know that you cant have like 7 tiers because then it loses its effect | |

I miss so many of those on probation, they were my bros even the ruler is gone :( I dont see any any key!
