Some doubts about melee evasion.

Thanks for those replies Ceryneian I have barely played beta so i wasnt aware of how bad it had gotten Im also surprised that they weakened life leech against bosses since it seemed overall in need of a buff. Primarily i think binos has been keeping me alive with my evasion cyclone but i guess 2.0 i will respec into iron reflexes.

Yes I am seeing normal Atziri damage on db doubled from current version. Don't forget these numbers are without the 100% modifier on the map.

Maybe it's an error but the data is coming from the CB game files. Thanks to wipes every 2-3 weeks not many people can attempt/test on Atziri on CB. How the heck is the average player supposed to level and find their end-game gear + fragments for Atziri in 2-3 weeks? Trade is almost non-existent.

Because monster damage is up they changed the armor formula to give better mitigation, and introduced Fortify for more mitigation.

They buffed Eldritch Battery for MoM users.

Yet they nerf evasion? Don't know about you guys, but that doesn't make sense to me.

They say they are trying to reduce OP leech mechanics. I think the main problem is using instant leech to easily facetank bosses. They are using the leech change to buff Duelist and to buff claws by making claws more valuable to use to get better leech. I don't get this approach. If you want to buff Duelist - just buff Duelist. If you want to buff claws - JUST BUFF CLAWS. If you want to nerf instant leech - just nerf Acuity for the 10th time already.

Sorry if I come off rude but no one seems to speak out for evasion. All I see is armor users on forums asking for buffs every week (which is strange when I see that most top HC builds are the ones using armor). Meanwhile melee evasion has been getting shafted consistently every single balance patch and no one is speaking up about this.

I guess my statements on leech come from basing a build around bloodseeker claw and being very dissapointed in its effectiveness. I think a lot of people have faith in ggg ability to balance things I don't anymore. Its more like they change things and they remain broken till the next major patch and players are meant to change with the meta even mid patch. Also seems like the duelist start is already pretty strong, anyway will see what comes of it all.
