I'll be busy getting used to everything in the BETA, so excited that the timer got me ;D

Well, I dont like rushing. But I will look at this weeks results and maybe next time... But yes, luck is big part of this competition. :0) But I really like dual wielding duelist, so maybe this will be my next week choice. :0)

Shock Nova duo? Yeah, probably.

" South Africa - GMT+2 " I tried to speed run ALA D2 - Got to the Ship Graveyard by Lvl 10 in 56 minutes (Templar). The level gap at which you can gain XP widens as you level higher IIRC.

Heh, that would be funny. Duo class, identical level. How does the game decide who gets higher spot, by whoever created char first or second?
Just to demonstrate how much RNG can fuck you over - as a Witch, I breezed through act 1 several times, but one time I got zero mana flask drops and 2 TP scroll drops total, I was running out of mana by the time I reached the ledge and it never really improved from that point. Died 4 times up to Prison simply because no mana, no TP, no augmentation orbs to buy from shop the times I got to WP. To add insult to injury, I got TWO elemental reflect spawns right at the entrance of ledge. What should have been a sexy XP/item boost turned into a "go fuck yourself" moment. |
