What should we expect in 0.9.4 ?

New class maybe? New quests?

This is the question for Chris & devs.
Mirror of Kalandra?
0.9.3 was only deployed a week ago, so don't expect too much!

Major releases like 0.9.4, 0.9.5 are a way of getting our office's "trunk" work onto the online realm. That's everything people have done that isn't merged into daily small patches.

The major changes in 0.9.4 relate to the item systems and attributes/requirements. We'll break a lot, but it'll make the game better.

Will this address the issue of wearing armour with attribute bonuses, and then skill gems leveling based on that, then not being able to use your skills anymore when you upgrade your armour and it doesn't have those attributes anymore? (if it doesn't that's okay, You all have done sooo much, just curious. :) )

It's not seen as a bug by GGG. It's one of the reasons why you'll want items with att bonuses.

Not that I agree or disagree with this idea.

Really? Well, I specifically am getting rid of all of my attribute equipment, because it makes it so that when I find an upgrade(which is really unquestionably better, except having less or no attributes) then suddenly I can't use my skills anymore. My strategy at the moment is to have no stat bonuses, until I am max level with the absolute best gear that I will never want to replace...which is, you know, blah. I wouldn't mind at all if the skills dropped down to the maximum possible level with my reduced attributes, but I effectively lose the skill altogether that is a part of my build.

They're going to make it so you have to choose whether your gems level up or not. So if you decide to level them up past what your base stats are, then you may end up in that situation, but you can choose to keep the gems a level or 2 lower than your max possible so you can swap out gear. For example, if you have enough str across 3 pieces of gear, you can prevent your gem from leveling up to where it'd require all 3, and leave it at requiring only 2 of those pieces... then you can swap any one of them out for an upgrade. Or you can leave it low enough that you don't need any of them so you can have complete freedom.

That is great! I am totally fine with that. :)

Yes, taekvideo's answer was spot on.

It is being fixed in the way taek said, yes.

Is a delevel option planned as well? Would be nice if we just unlocked levels on skillgems, but could always decide which level to use.
