What do guys from GGG do to get the game known to large masses?
Aggressive marketing is ALMOST as important as the quality of the product.
If some discontented user on Diablo forums hasn't disclosed his displeasure with the game, and mentioned PoE, I probably wouldn't be here.
And I don't accept arguments such as 'Those who are interested in this kind of game, will know about it'.
Because it simply isn't true.
GGG should not disregard this aspect of the game.
We're only going to spend money on advertising once the game is available for people to play publicly (otherwise it's just throwing away budget on signups that don't necessarily turn into playing members).
We do appreciate all the word-of-mouth advertising in the meantime!
