How does flat physical scale?

Wondering if anyone could explain or point me in the right direction of how flat physical from items scales off passives and modifiers...searched but couldn't find anything.

Is it just added to your weapon physical then business as usual?

Exactly, you just add it up to the damage of your weapon (its final damage after all weapon mods get factored in, not damage of its base item).
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Sweet, thanks for confirming. That makes flat phys so good on those fast weapons...that new jewel is going to be opie.
Yeah, flat phys is one of the best mods in the game for any class does phys, even more so for the faster ones.
HAIL SATAN!
and for dual wield + dual strike/cleave... Flat phys is two times efficient.

dual strike and cleave use both weapons for ONE strike

abyssus gives 40-60 flat physical damage to each weapon soooo

dual strike & cleave get 80-120 flat physical damage directly by using two weapons at once.
I will never be good but always I try to improve.
It's not literally twice as efficient, because both cleave and dual strike have damage effectiveness multipliers less than 1.

Still, dual strike's is close enough to 1 that it's almost 2x effectiveness.
