Spark cannot shotgun anymore?

Well,... that changes the entire skill!

Now I have 5 projectiles at 70% effectiveness. Even if just 3 hit the same enemy, that's 210% damage. Big bosses like Vaal Oversoul are easily hit with all projectiles for 350% damage. Not to mention supports like Fork or Pierce that can make even 1 individual spark hit an enemy multiple times.

With the change to LMP/GMP, it seems only 1 of my sparks can hit 1 enemy. That is a HUGE damage loss vs. single targets.

So I'm expecting also a HUGE compensation to keep Spark somewhat viable in this game, although I don't see how it can be done elegantly. If the damage is doubled, you will still lose single target damage but your dps vs numerous mobs will skyrocket.

On top of it, Spark now is a very elegant skill for good players: you can target crowds from far, but you have to get close to bosses to have all sparks hitting them. If this mechanic is given up, Spark will become pretty much a spam from afar skill and lose its very personality.

Any thoughts on this?
