Double S / (cleave?) 2h sword build

Hi, i am new here. I want to start new charakter - duelist with 2h sword. Is this passive skill tree OK for double strike? I want to try HC,... But want to be carefull with this build for sure.... What do you think about it? Thx

Hi charles.

You won´t survive in HC with this spec.
You´ve picked only 90% life - go for 200% as a melee in HC.
Mind Over Matter won´t save you, unless you manage it to get 700+ mana unreserved.


I´d suggest to go for Spectral Throw instead of DS or Cleave.
So you can keep your distance, that way you´ll eat a way less damage.
Since your going for crit, ST should be a good option. If a 2h-weapon crits, it hurts a lot.
That said: Your damage is insane. You´ll 1-shot yourself, when hitting a reflect mob with a crit.
Also you should think about picking up Iron Reflexes and convert your evasion to armor.
That´s much more reliable than evasion in HC. Adding a Grace Aura will help you a lot.

So drop damage, pick up more life and go for Spectral Throw.

Targeting it to life-leech + high attack speed - if it get to the end, it will be interesting, if not.... who cares :D
