Help me what to change for Survivability

Hi there,

For the 1 Month League I choose a Shadow Build (http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1131017) this one, but now that I am around LV 67 I start to die a lot on maps and normal areas. The problem seems to be, that the build counts on very expensive Items, that I can never afford (or it would take some more time to farm them). So my question is, what to do with my character, to prevent him from dying so much. Any suggestions for gear and tree changes are welcome! :)

Tornado Shot + PPAD + GMP + Faster Attacks
Puncture + Increased Critical Damage + PPAD + LMP
Frenzy + Weapon Elemental Damage + Physical to Lightning + PPAD + Faster Projectiles
Reduced Mana + Hatred + Herald of Ash + Herald of Ice

My Stats:
Life: 2117
Fire Resistance 75%
Cold Resistance 71%
Lightning Resistance 63%

You need a defensive Cast when Damage taken gem setup. EC+IC or MS+AA or something else. It's also used in the thread you linked where your skill tree got inspired from. It really is important to have such a setup, be it Cwdt or self cast. Also, do you use Armour/Evasion flasks?

You have very low amounts of life on gear and in the passive tree. I would focus on improving that while capping resists.

Also you didn't mention damage, but you are scaling phys in the tree and using phys support gems with an elemental bow.

Edit: Some gem changes you can make aside from the above mentioned cwdt setup.

-Run grace instead of heralds, huge chunk of extra evasion.
-Run enfeeble. Really amazing defensive curse, especially for evasion builds. I prefer to link it with cwdt, but you could also use a curse on hit setup or just manual cast it.
