Necrovigil change

Now that we know Phylacteral Link is getting the axe--at least for now--the next-most-annoying Bloodline Mod that people think needs fixing appears to be Necrovigil. There are tons of complaints--invincibility is annoying, the radius is too big, why would you ever let this happen on packs that spawn in tiny areas--but I think there's one change that might make a lot of people happy while still maintaining the essence of the mod:

Tie the radius of the Sigil to the percentage of the pack that remains.

That means that, when you kill the first enemy, the sigil spawns, and when you kill the second enemy, it spawns a sigil as well--but they both shrink by an amount tied to the number of mobs left in the pack. It's mechanically more enjoyable than GIANT FIELD OF UNKILLABLE LAND, it maintains the essence of the mod, and adds the flavor of the bloodline feeding on itself.

Thoughts?
FYI: It's not a fantasy story, it's a cosmic horror story.

I don't understand the issue with Necrovigil. If players don't want to or can't kite for whatever reason, any corpse-devouring or -shattering skill gets rid of the circles or doesn't leave any in the first place. So basically, Necrovigil has several countermeasures while P-Link doesn't.
