Herald of Ice and Chance to Flee

I notice that the support gem activates on the description when equipped. Is this a bug, or does this support gem actually add a chance to flee to the aura?

Can't see why it shouldn't work, when you shatter something the explosion triggered by the herald should have chance to flee property.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

well first of all maybe you shouldve read the gem and realised its not an aura, and then talk about bugs?

Ah, I see. So it doesn't apply to all your attacks while it's activated; just to the shatter effect. That makes sense.
