"must be logged in" error and rollback

I was playing a 77 shipyard map and waded into a very large pack near a shrine. I attacked several times with Static Strike and built up quite a few charges. At the moment the first few discharged the game froze up completely and immediately went back to the account screen with the message "this feature requires your account to be logged in to use" My internet never disconnected so I know it wasn't a connection issue. When I immediately re-logged in. All the items I had picked up in the map were gone. HOWEVER the experience I lost when I had died in that map (a fair bit before the shrine) WAS applied. Items I had picked up before that death were gone as well. All the portals left in my hideout (there was 4 left) were gone as well. The map itself was not returned to my inventory.

So I lost the map, all the loot I got in that map; yet the experience loss I recieved was not rolled back. Ouch. That's quite the bug.
