What is the MTX that you dislike the most?
" So then wouldn't you be more bothered by the giant spider pets? "Danger is like jello, there's always room for more."

" Huh, TIL. It's been so long since I've looked at the pet section of the shop, I must have missed the news post, and I don't think I've ever seen it in-game. |

the Skull Hood by far. it looks like a goofy plastic Halloween mask. just about everything else is excellent imo. (have to agree on the seraph set and tentacle wings though :P but for what they are the artwork is well done...)

Storm cloud arctic armour. So much so that I even got a 1-time refund on it despite it being only a few points. It just looks so bad.

" Exclusive shit should be reserved for the supporter packs, those are announced as exclusive and limited time deals, they're available for months at a time, and they represent real support of the game and an investment for the future of PoE. Holiday specials on the other hand should be added to an increasing list of MTXs available every year. They're meant for fun and for holiday spirit, not for exclusivity and collector's envy. The Valentine's heart just got a name change, while the effect stayed the same, that sort of thing is perfect, but it wasn't out this year, so maybe next year.... The headless MTX was probably considered pretty lame to a lot of people, but it's much more fun now with the zombie head pet, here's hoping for a repeat on both of those things. As for my least favorite MTX. Razer Footprints. The corporate branding is cheap and tasteless, just like the mice. That's closely followed by the ridiculously rare Steam MTXs like the Imp Masks which can only be bought on Steam Marketplace (and only for the maximum bid of $400). WTG Valve, creating artificial scarcity on those things. |

"I dont see the problem with corporate branding in games, people need to make money somehow. In this specific case, I see it like a skateboarder taking sponsorship (they all do it), it doesnt affect the way they skate though. What does suck is if that branding company has an impact on game development decisions, and in all cases that it doesnt, I dont see why people should have a problem with it. Some of the MTX I hate seem to have very high sales, razer footprints are one of the ones I like though, and when people dont like them it just makes me like them more. (Probably the same with demon horns, I bet everyone just wears them to piss me off) Last edited by Metronomy#6891 on Mar 23, 2015, 7:07:23 AM

I don't like the wings and ghostflame-colored effects. Everything else is fine.

" The thing is, this isn't a skateboard or a racecar, it's closer to a fantasy novel. And it's more than just an immersion breaking logo, it's high-contrast ugly and Razer has a predominantly negative brand image (for being overpriced and lacking resilience). It doesn't change the mechanics of the gameplay, but it changes the esthetics's of the game, which is a very important quality. |

" I will just pretend i didn't read this. " It shouldn't matter if it is a cheap quality products brand or one of the golden ones. It is about the quality of art. Subliminal tactics are corrupt. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all.
