Strongbox issues

Instance 1) I was playing last night with a buddy and we came across a regular strongbox with the "items inside have 20% quality" mod. We opened the box and killed the mobs and some gear dropped from the box as well as a gem. The skill gem wasn't from the mobs, but the box. The gem also had 0% quality on it, to our disappointment.

Instance 2) Later in the night, another strongbox. This one said "Summons skeletons" among other mods. Opened the box and plenty of mobs were generated, but none of them were skeletons. Not heartbreaking, but still a potential bug I noticed.

I didn't take any screenshots and I didn't submit a bug report, but I'm just curious if many others are seeing similar things.
