Spell Totem or Ranged Attack Totem for freezing enemy?

I am using Ranger and I am thinking to set up a totem to help me freezing the enemy.

Ranged Attack Totem + Ice Shot + Greater Multiple Projectiles + Added Cold Damage

The good for Ice shot:
Create a small ice ground for slowing down the enemy
Can deal more damage then Freezing Pulse as I didnt take any spell node.

The bad for Ice shot:
May not hit as much target as Freezing Pulse

Spell Totem + Freezing Pulse + Greater Multiple Projectiles + Added Cold Damage

The good for Freezing Pulse:
Hit multiple targets easier

The bad for Freezing Pulse:
The attack range is shorter (didnt test yet so not sure about this)

So my question is that, which one is more efficiency for freezing enemy? or you guys have a better suggestion?

If you aren't a caster, freeze pulse won't be freezing much, especially not with double 50% less multipliers on totem and GMP, go for ranged attack totem.

You might get better mileage if you go for PPAD and proliferation instead of GMP and added cold, try it out and see.

Tested different settings in a few 66-68 maps for ice shot + ranged attack totem and the best result is:

Ice Shot + Ranged Attack Totem + Greater Multiple Projectiles + Fork

Cannot test its real damage output as my gem are mostly lv1-5 (Only ice shot is lv16) and without any Quality. (But I can imagine that there wont be much damage output anyway)

Long story short, it indeed doing a good job for freezing enemy and it create quite a bit of ice ground which also slowing down the enemy as well.

Now, I may try to put it into a 5L for
-Knockback
-life leech
-PPAD
-added cold (this is to increase the freezing duration)

Didnt play much this account so not much progress.

Anyway, I found this one quite good.

Ice Shot + Ranged Attack Totem + Greater Multiple Projectiles + Blind

No problem for doing <68 map
