PoE Updated Proslam build


keywords: Elemental Proliferation, Ground Slam, Herald of Ash, Staff

Gems Slots

herald of ash + ele prolif + increased burning dmg + increased rarity + reduced mana
(increased rarity is a luxery but very helpfull when playing solo)

herald of thunder + curse on hit + assassin's mark + reduced mana
(no problems to get max. power charges and sustain them)

reduced mana + purity of lightning
(if you run phys to lighting this is a must! will save you alot of dmg taken when you meet ele reflect)

ground slam + melee phys damage + physical to lightning + faster attacks + increased aoe
(if you dont have a 5link you can leave increased aoe out, but its a nice QoL)

cast when damage taken + endurng cry + immortal call + temp chains

vengeance + increased critical strike (just filler of remaing slots)



Why physical to lightning?

-would kill myself with physical reflect
-tree scales well with elemental damage
-shock stack
-neat trick vs phys reflect: swap Ground Slam for Static Strike for full elemental damage output
full ele dmg output against physical reflect




Current Gear

with increased aoe for majority of the content

concentrated effect for some bosses and vagan



-at endgame (maps) get a high phys. dmg staff with crit (aim at 400-500 phys dps staff with >8% crit)
-try to get 2% phys mana leech on jewelery (rings or amulet) to solve your mana problems
-don't forget to get some accuracy on your gear
-flat physcal damage, crit, crit multi, accuracy are the biggest dps upgrades on gear

Quess that herald of ash + ele prolif + fire pen + reduced mana could be better? Nice build tho.
Mirror of Kalandra?
Penetration is an on-Hit effect - Damage over Time does not Hit. No can do.

Could swap Inc. Rarity for Inc. AoE but with this tree + carcass jack it isn't needed.
the inc. rarity is great for solo play

Curious; why a staff?
Becacuse staves have the highest local crit chance, but you could use other weapons if you go non-crit

I see! well then I'll have to buy a decent staff then. I've always loved GS but felt it lacked something special, watching your video has made me all giddy inside! Cant wait to get to maps!

1) How often do you die?
2) How do you deal with mana regen problems?
3) Can you kill atziri/uber atziri?
4) Does the build require many exalts to work correctly?
So are all your kills coming from the herald of ash? Because a lot of items are dropping, so it seems the IIR gem is working pretty well.

1) not often, pretty safe build lvled till 92 (died to the occasionally yolo strongbox)
2) 2% physical leech on one of my rings, enough to sustain.
3) killed atziri once with zero deaths, its mostly a mechanical fight a good flask setup.
4) you can easily fund this on cheap, but ofcourse with good weapon and good other gear the clearspeed will be faster.

i've done this build mostly selffound
)carcass jack is nice but not needed, and it's not that expensive, you can easy manage with a 4link
)abyssus is a cheap great DPS upgrade
)400 -500 phys DPS Staff with >8% crit would be you biggest expense (ranges from 25c - many exalts (depends on dps)), you could use any other high dps 2 hander, but than I wouldnt go crit, but resolute technique.
