Thanks. Why is the maze desirable anyway?

Maze is desirable because it greatly increases the area of the map. More area = more mobs = more chance for maps, exp, and loot!

Ty for the post, experimenting a lot in maps. I tryed everything even mass alch chaos. And basically the most cost efficient way for me are some maps in mazes. spider lair and tunnel are really good in mazes imho.

I'm curently running 68-70 maps because I don't have any core gear for my char, too new, but a mate does the same more or less with better gear and some quantity and he is even better farm wise in 66-67 maps.

There's a whole guide for managing and rolling maps here on the forums. It has great details on which maps have nasty bosses, are generally better to run, and work well with particular mods.
