Could we preload some 0.9.3 data, please?

One gigabyte is a fairly big chunk to download all at once and might strangle my other internet browsing. It would also take a while to download it in one big patch; I'd appreciate the option to download a couple hundred megabytes just so I'm not spending a long time downloading all the new patch data.

Everyone else will be downloading it, too! I'll have to compete for server bandwidth.

Nice idea.

However, things are changing constantly and moreover making some part of 0.9.3 downloadable would slow down making process, so... Let's just wait.

The game will patch itself; you're not downloading the entire game again. With that said, they're offering the smallest downloads possible. If they could get away with excluding some files that don't have any changes, they would do so. Since every file in the patch is necessary and still likely to change before the patch goes beta, it's unlikely that you would be able to grab anything early that you won't have to download again.

I'm not convinced that the patch is going to go live the same day they finish it. It'll probably be at least a day or two before it's passed to the live servers, but that's just speculation on my part.
Regardless of when they switch versions on the beta server, the time they allow it to be downloaded is the time everyone will download it. Nearly everyone will jump at the chance to get it as soon as possible, so you won't get a faster download by pre-downloading anything, since everyone else will be be doing the same thing.

The only thing that would help those with slower speeds would be to intentionally instate a 1-2 day "download period" where everyone can download the patch, but no one could play it. This would annoy the quick downloaders who want to play as soon as the download is done, just as much as a normal playable patch annoys the slow downloaders when they can't jump in-game as quickly as others.

Like every other patch, the final 0.9.3 patch will more than likely go through a day or two of stress testing on the alpha to find any last minute game-crashing bugs (there always are).

The socialist thinking in its essence, someone has better internet? well, fuck them, let's just make them wait so the poor can get their patch. You sicken me.

You obviously either didn't fully read or comprehend what I wrote.

Yeah you basicly want those that have faster internet to wait for those that don't. I don't see any other point that your "download period" would have.
