What is "good" dps?

A friend of mine has a char with 32k DPS. But he also burns 270 mana per second.

Posting your dps without saying what spell you use is pretty pointless anyway, you can't really compare different spells like that.

Softcore - lv73 mara
5 link cleave - 22k 4 link flicker - 16k 4 link lighting strike - 10k I still need to upgrade my gear and i'm expecting to reach 30k cleave. Btw, i'm not AOF. Insan

Looks like ranger is the worst class dps wise once again.
My summoner witch has 1000dps on freezing pulse even though i put all my points into minions, so thats kinda telling how bad the ranger is. |
