exactly what i was thinking, this orb is too good for the few rich people that can brute force RNG, not so much for the rest.

how about orb of terrorism? allows you to attacks other people in town for 5 seconds

Orb of Corrosion: Removes one affix randomly from an item. Destroys all extant imprints. May also downgrade the item to a lower level one. >:)

this has been discussed many times. Now use that orb on legacy kaoms to remove "has no sockets"

Which is why it can't be allowed to be usable on unique items - only rares.

The real question, is how much is this feature worth. It does remove a random affix, while an exalt adds a random affix... so it might need to be approximately as rare and worth as much as exalts.

This has been suggested numerous times before. In fact, in a Reddit post Chris said he thinks this idea is in line with their approach to crafting items or something to that effect.

I'm pretty sure this already is happening... Some leak of art assets a while back revealed an "Orb of Vanity." Both the name and artwork seem fitting for this concept.
