iron will+minions?
I cannot find it anywhere if iron will applies to minions, or rather zombies particularly. The zombie gem is labeled as a "spell" So does strength to spell modifier apply?

No, and there are plenty of reasons
- zombies don't do spell damage, they do physical attack damage - your stats don't apply to minions, and that includes your strength score - minions have 0 strength themselves Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

The modifier applies to the Raise Zombie spell. This spell deals no damage, so it's irrelevant.
The modifier, like all support gem modifiers, is copied to the minion created by the spell. Raised Zombies don't use spells, and don't have strength, so it's irrelevant for them, too.
I wonder why some spells that do not deal spell damage are tagged "cast" while others still have "spell" tag
I was thinking that the "cast" tag is here to reduce the confusion among less experienced players. But I feel that it accomplishes the exact opposite (due to situation described in the first paragraph) IGN: Eric_Lindros

"The cast tag is explicitly for spells that do deal damage, but that damage is not spell damage.

" Not 100% but pretty sure no. MI can not be spell blocked/dodged. You can scale it with minion life/damage, flat damage support, conc effect, fire pen etc. supporting minion gem. NA with life, or fire damge should work fine but u doubt spell damage affects it. |

" No, it counts as a minion skill and behaves like all other corpse explosion effects, which means it's secondary damage, not attack nor a spell. Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.
