Day/Night Cycle - Lightning/Rain?

Is this ever coming into the game?

I feel it adds A LOT to the game if it were implemented, light radius would come into play, in areas besides dungeons.

It would make you play more secure, instead of seeing mobs across the screen. It would also add for immersion, I mean always walking outside a2, and seeing it day just reminds you how static the game can be..

Doesn't seem like a hard thing to implement, they already have something like it with the "shadow of the vaal" quest line, where you unleash the darkness.

I can't think of any reason why not. I believe dynamic environments strongly support a game being more visceral, and while we're at it, rain and lightning while dark as well.

While it would be pretty it would also be murder on our graphics cards. Have you seen how ridiculously badly the main screen with the rain stresses a card?
You expect me to act as something I'm not? I picked this name for a reason.
I would love OP's idea implemented, it adds really a lot to immersion as he said. As for graphic stress, I've seen old games using rain/snow/storm and day/night cycles so I don't think it's so hard on the PC.
