Wander Templar?

I just saw Kripps video concerning his Open beta wander build and I find it looks interesting.
And my marauder died yesthurday so Im rerolling.

In his video he states that the build is very much gear dependant. Around what would I need to make it work? Do i have to be crazy rich or just getting the right gear will work?

If any one you out there are wanders how is the damage and survivability. I am playing hardcore so I need a build that will be able to live and hopefully be able to solo Maps lategame. Thanks
