A guide has been posted here which covers general aspects and strategies of racing.

A summary of Time based events:

Timed based events are new type of event introduced in Race Season 9, they are designed to create a new kind of competitive environment where players compete not by character experience, but by their capabilities to progress through the game and complete specific objectives, such as killing bosses.

The boss required to be defeated for this race is: Piety, located in Lunaris Temple Level 3.

  • The time recorded is based from the beginning of the race, not when your character is created.
  • Characters will not appear on the ladder until they have completed the objective.
  • Characters are not required to have completed the time based objective in order to receive points for the other objectives, such as points awarded for reaching certain levels.
  • Characters who die after completing the objective, will still be counted for receiving reward points except for the level-specific prizes.
  • Points are awarded at the end of the race, do not delete your characters until they have been moved to the permanent leagues.

Did 10 minutes better than the last time meaning 2h 23min. Got pretty lost on Solaris 2 and had pretty much the whole zone mapped before I got the WP. Some smaller confusions on Weaver's Nest and Wetlands.

Amulet and Two-Stone were alched (had third alch too but that ring was pretty bad).
What the hell was that, Your network goes down 2 hours and 40 minutes into the race and disconnects me, but not enough disconnect to keep my character alive! thanks for that waste of time.
RNG loved me this race

- Spend around 2 hours of the race out doing errands

- Still make top 100 on the overall scoreboard

- There arent even 100 players on the overall scoreboard

The versions of this format that extend to act 3 need work. Making them fixed seed so theyre not a maphackers delight and dont have bs act 3 zone design driving away most the players would be a good start.
