We won't be making it automatically scale the level of monsters to match the level of players in an area.

Monsters are harder if there are more players in the instance, of course. That changes as people join and leave the instance.

i know it is called a mmo but it sounds more like seperate games, sorta like battle.net if they used a graphic based chat to represent the "town".

how much of it is really wide open where you can run into alot of different players/groups?


We actually try to avoid calling it an MMO. All of the actual gameplay takes place in randomly generated instances, but you can meet up with other people in towns to show off. It's very similar to Guild Wars, but with random level generation.
