Questions Regarding the Closed Beta

I'm excited for the upcoming beta (if i get in I'll be able to play it on my PC that I just built a few days ago :) ) but I've got a few questions surrounding it. If someone can answer them, I'd be thankful.


1. Will the characters created in the closed beta remain on our accounts when the full game is released?

2. Will we be able to purchase items during the closed beta? (Ties in with Q. 1, if I spend money on something, I don't want it disappearing :/ )

3. How many people will be let into the Closed Beta, and will it happen all at once or in periods?

Thanks guys, I can't wait for this game.

1. The current plan is for a full server wipe at the end of closed beta.

2. The shop won't be opening anytime soon. Maybe not until open beta.

3. GGG wants to invite about 100 people per day. They may change depending on how the servers are handling or the load or any other reason.

Welp tpapp is faster than me.

1. What will the level cap be?

2. Will parties be up to 4 players or 8?

3. Is there a limit to how much of the world we will have access to?

4. How many characters per account?

5. Is crafting going to be activated in closed beta?

1) 100

2)8 is the current max

3)Act 2 currently with act 3 coming before open beta

4) Lots , with extra slots for a price, I think I had 8 at once before

5)Define 'crafting'

Now for what I would like to know:

1. Will all classes be playable? What about the unannounced class?

2. What difficulties will be available?

3. Will the story be hidden or revealed?

only the 5 revealed classes

easiest difficulty setting

this is a test to see how the server will hold up so no story will be revealed beyond what has been unveiled in the forums.

1. The announced class will come in later in the beta.

2. Act 1 and 2 of first difficulty.

3. Not sure.
