Beta Date and Templar Gameplay Clip

We're pleased to announce that the Closed Beta will begin on August 10th (American time). Anyone with an account on this site will be eligible for selection.

We have also uploaded a 90 second gameplay video showing a spellcaster Templar attacking Alira's bandit camp in Act Two. He uses Frost Wall to keep them at a distance while he kills them with Shock Nova.

We'll be inviting some number of people per day that we decide based on how the test is going. We'll try to keep it high (100 per day ideally), but may have to lower it if we're running into stability problems. This will be displayed visibly on the page in an interesting way that you will hopefully enjoy.

The last char will be added during beta when he or she is completely ready.
