Money for items

The reason for a lot of the gamers that are on this forum as far as I have seen is the fact that PoE will be a FAIR Play game, no power buys, this attracts a lot of gamers because we had seen what happens to games where you buy power (Typical ASIAN MMOs)... oh man do they SUCK, only the wealthy succeed in such a game and the free content portion typically sucks.

Many of us were the same gamers that were pleased with Blizzard's decision for D2 with no auction house! GGG sets a standard when it comes to self-management that other companies have given up on. Everquest survived by releasing content for quite a while, it was one of the biggest MMORPGs for a really long time (PreWoW for anyone that doesn't know) but any game that charges money from player to player is in fact a gamble (literally people are gambling and many may be younger than legal gambling age).

A fellow game: Torchlight (By former Diablo creators) is working on an MMO with the same idealism that PoE is taking because they have said essentially that power buys make games less viable and entertaining, Grim Dawn (By Crate Entertainment, former Titan Quest developers) are working on a game that is "similar" to Diablo 3 in the fact it will be online enabled, but they said they were developing content to be released and it would be modifiable by the community.

There is a clear resentment by many developers towards sacrificing the quality of their games for the quantity within their wallets.
I love virtual brutality so save it for the Mobs...
