Lore

Hey, im new here, and i hope this game turns good enough so i can save the money i would spend on d3..

Now, there is some location where i can read the lore behind this game? thanks in advance
so far http://www.pathofexile.com/areas/ is your best bet...

GGG will probably make a better lore section/update when they got time though.

Agreed. To compare two wargames, Warhammer Fantasy and Mantics' Kings of War, id choose Fantasy most of the time. I may not enjoy the game as much, but the lore is so brilliant that it MAKES me want to play! KoW is simply a ruleset with a bodged on background.

From what ive seen of this game, please dont let us down on the lore side of things; its the fluff which drags the player into the world and creates that special bond between player and game.

Edit: Also, I really enjoyed reading the area descriptions. Very well written :)

You can see a little more muddling with the lore in the novel I'm writing based on Path of Exile, that touches on a lot of the lore covered in-game as well (http://ryukaki.com)

I am incredibly eager to see where GGG takes the world, it's fun to write about it, but I can't wait to see what the devs have in store and how it contrasts or is similar to what I've wrote.

Lore is a crazy important thing to me when it comes to my enjoying a game, so yeah.

A writer by trade, I'd LOVE to write some lore. It is great fun imagining origins of the monsters and heros.
Same, Dannt. They have a whole team in place currently who are working on that whole angle, and I wish I could pick their brains and work it into my writing as well, but they're keeping it all under wraps.

Yeah lore is important to me too.
What I wish for is lore friendly boss battles. What I mean by that is Diablo 2's Diablo fight(he once impersonated a bloody Archangel{his nemesis}, why in the bloody hells wouldn't he use those tricks on you?). With that said...yeah.

There is a boss fight in Act 1 in which you fight an illusion-disguised enemy, eventually revealing its true form. I think you'll be pleased with how the bosses stay true to the lore :)
