This week's screenshot shows a Marauder fighting on the Ledge. Many people have commented that screenshots of previous outdoors areas looked washed-out. We now support high dynamic range lights which means that we can make scenes brighter without having to make the light colour closer to white. As you can see in this screenshot, outdoors scenes are far less washed-out now. Click here to see the screenshot.
This week's screenshot shows a ranger entering Wraeclast's long-abandoned Prison, a centerpiece of the game's first act. The front gate has never been shown in screenshots or videos before today and is designed to feel intimidating to new inmates, by having prisoners trapped on both sides and steps so large that most men feel small in comparison. This week's screenshot shows a Marauder fighting in a cave below the Tidal Passage. He's using the Ground Slam skill on two previously unannounced monster types - the Shield Crab and the Spawn. This particular cave level is a side area that features rickety wooden bridges over underwater pools. Click here to see the screenshot.
