Is there anyway to share Master quests with a party?

My friends and I have been playing the new expansion for a bit and have come accross the Armormaster twice. Both times the only person who received rep with the master was the one who touched the Karui spirit. Is this intended and is there anyway around this?

You want the guy carrying the spirit exit first and rest follow, this way the quest gets completed for everyone

Figured this out the hard way with some people in our party not getting the rep :)
