herald of ash is really interresting for my built. i dont care that much about the on kill effect but the added firedmg should give a good dps boost ING: "MeneaterMildrid" or "WICKEDSICKmoves"

Does Herald of Ash work with spells? It doesn't seem so from the gem description.

Any possibilities to reduce the 25% reserved Mana? I think Aura nodes dont work.
Maybe Reduced Mana gem , what about Reduced Skill Cost nodes? |

I can guarantee that it works with reduced mana gem, playing it at around 17% atm ( with alphas howl)

Got Herald of Ice for the Hillock Reward on Cruel with a Duelist, and I've got it down to 13% reserved. Fun stuff, can't wait to level it up a bit!
