Over 100% reduced mana reserve?

Just theory crafted a build and i realised you can obtain over 100% reduced mana reserve.

Any of you have any idea how the calculation for auras will Work?
multiplicative not additive
Sorry but what does that mean?
Mortal Conviction is another multiplier like reduced mana. For example with all aura nodes, lvl 20 reduced mana and Mortal Conviction, 60% aura will reserve 0.6*0.62*0.71*0.4 = 0.105, which means 11% reservation.
just for a clarification, rounding happens on each step for aura cost, but yes minimum of 11% for 60% auras.
25% *.62 = 15.5 -> 16% *.71 = 11.36 -> 12% *.4 = 4.8 -> 5%
40% *.62 = 24.8 -> 25% *.71 = 17.75 -> 18% *.4 = 7.2 -> 8%
60% *.62 = 37.2 -> 38% *.71 = 26.98 -> 27% *.4 = 10.8 -> 11%

Not anymore - Rounding now happens on the end result, check the patch notes.

ah i missed that, but it might still roundup after the fact, would be nicer results for it not to, but oh well.

Technically speaking it will round to nearest mana value I think.

The change to Aura Reserves does nothing to change rounding when it comes to Reservation values on a per-Skill basis. Mana Reservation is still calculated the same way.

Under the new system in 1.2.0, casting the 60% aura doesn't calculate what 60% would be as an integer amount - instead it sees you have 40% already reserved, looks at how much that is as an integer amount, and knows if both were active you'd have a total of 100% reserved, and works out what that would be as an integer amount (i.e. your maximum mana). It then takes the difference between the two, and that's how much available mana will be required for the 60% aura.

And because this is what I do around here, the actual true-to-game order of operations:

Path of Exile always rounds down.

60% Base
lv20 RM (71%)
60% Less Reserve
38% Reduced Reserve

First step is calculating the base, which involves Supports only:
60 * 0.71 = 42.6, rounds to 42%

Second step involves Increased, Reduced, Less and More. The game calculates your total Reduction, rounds that down, and subtracts it from the Base. With only 38% Reduced Reserve, it would work out as follows:
42 * 0.38 = 15.96, rounds to 15%
42 - 15 = 27% final Reserve

With Mortal Conviction, you first calculate the total %Reduction as follows:
Reduced * Less / 100 - 100 = total %Reduction
(100 - 38) * (100 - 60) / 100 - 100 = -75.2, rounds to 75%
42 * 0.75 = 31.5, rounds to 31
42 - 31 = 11%

40% Aura would be:
40 * 0.71 = 28.4, rounds to 28%
28 * 0.75 = 21
28 - 21 = 7%

25% (I'm guessing the Heralds are 25%?):
25 * 0.71 = 17.75, rounds to 17%
17 * 0.75 = 12.75, rounds to 12
17 - 12 = 5%

Proper procedure is a big deal. Harrumph. :P
(both previous methods produced incorrect results for 40% Auras)

---------------
Fun fact: a level 21 RM does nothing. At all.
60 * 0.71 = 42.6, rounds to 42%
60 * 0.70 = 42%

40 * 0.71 = 28.4, rounds to 28%
40 * 0.71 = 28%

(I'm still guessing the Heralds are 25?)
25 * 0.71 = 17.75, rounds to 17%
25 * 0.70 = 17.50, rounds to 17%
