I think they will turn into skeletons. However im not sure at this point. I cant control that part sadly.

That would be awesome!!! Goes with the innuendos, analogies, metaphors and philosophy of this game. Mervel could have a nice looking cabinet that player thinks is gonna have loot after the battle and then...SURPRISE, perhaps instead it could have some lore, lore is priceless.
