Need some advice regarding IIR/IIQ and burning dmg

Hi there,

I recently decide to put my hands on a Shavronne's. Quick questions about it in order to not waste my time

1-- As far as I know, Shav will drop from any lv62 monster, so The Docks seems to be the place to farm because any mob can drop it. Am i right?

2-- To kill mob I use this setup:


I'll replace Fire Pen by IIQ gem and Inc. Crit. Dmg. by IIR gem

Will my IIQ/IIR Gem will apply to all mobs that die from burning, or only the mob I hit? Can't find any reliable info regarding this.

1 - Yes, any place level 62 or higher would do but docks are easy and monster density is good. However, if you're able to farm Piety it's a preferred option, drops are better overall.

2 - Drop anything but fire penetration, that's the best support an elemental user can have, drop increased burning instead. Rarity/quantity support gems work with damage over time since they reworked the mechanics in version 1.1 I think. They didn't work before and it was fairly recent, that's why you're finding conflicting info.

I think I'll mix my farm time with some Piety runs and some Docks.

Glad to know that my IIR/IIQ gems will apply regardless if I hit the monster or not; it will make my farm time easier.

And yes I'm French, how do you notice? Is my english that bad? :)

I find a dev answer to my problem in digging better in the forum.
