Desecrate and Trap Gem, to qualiy or not?

Hi everyone!
Does Desecrate linked to a Trap gem get bonus from quality (inc cast speed)? Or Trap gem quality (inc trap throwing speed) works here? | |

If you hook a trap gem to a skill, it becomes a trap. Traps get no bonus from cast speed. Traps get bonuses from throwing speed. I feel like this should be obvious.
