Buy a dice with 6 faces, and roll it!

Chance to have a 6 with 1 roll is 1 on 6

Chance to have a 6 with 6 roll is 2 on 3 (1-(5/6)^6)

(on average you have 1 6, but that is not a sure result, only an average, so if you roll 600 times, you will have approximately 100 6)

Chance to have a 6 with 1000 roll, is "very high", we say 99+%

(still it's not sure you find a 6)

so, same for chromatics, fusings, jewellers, etc

example

chance to have a 5L with 1 fuse is 1 on 100 (supposing)

chance to have a 5L with 1000 fuse is high,

on average you will have 10 5L but still not sure you find a 5L

not hard to understand

if you roll infinite numbers (that is not possible) you have 100% chance!

Your conclusion makes no mathematical sense. You even used the words "on average", so you must have some idea how chance works.

rng gives random number according to some distribution.

In case of non corrupted dices that would be an uniform one.

I think he is trying to say that you have a specific probability of rolling something and that it is not random, and so he takes offense to the term RNG. Except that the probability is determined using a random number generator so it is RNG... I don't know.
