Feedback on build idea and passive tree.

I would like to get some feedback on a build idea that I came up with. I've read some guides on duel totems and I wanted to try out a duel ice spear totem build. It's based on the duel ice spear totem witch with specters for extra damage.

The idea of the build is to have duel ice spear totems freezing everything and 2/3 Flame Sentinels blasting everything to oblivion. For support I will have 2/3 permanent curses and I will also generate 7 power charges with a separate Ice Spear. For defense I want to run Arctic Armor with MoM (Cloak of Defiance) and ED.

This is be a SC build as I don't think it will have good enough defenses to survive HC.

I would love some feedback on this semi-project of mine!

Dual spell totems were nice before but now with them doing only 35% of selfcast damage and emergence of spell echo gem, it can't come near in damage output even if it's a bit safer. Selfcast + one totem has the best damage output currently and you got some distraction out of it.

I guess the only worthwhile pure totemist setup right now is dual flame totems with three dragons helm.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I think I could live with the 1 totem and self cast. Also, I wouldn't have to put so many points into the tree to get to duel totems. The only problem I see with it is dealing with reflect. If I do go for selfcast + duel totem, should I use a life leech gem when running into reflect or is there other ways for me to deal with it?
Yup, if you're nearby grab elemental adaptation, coupled with some aura effect nodes and purity aura of your chosen element you'll be able to significantly overcap your resist. Or you could get some spell block, or do both. Leech gem is always useful, unless you got other survival plans.

Fortunately, not a lot of spells have truly serious reflect problems, mostly spells that hit all at once and do it hard, like flameblast, ethereal knives, maybe storm call on crit streaks. If you're using a fire spell arctic armor can also make you immune to reflect.
