Block / Dodge Cap?

If you use Rumi's Concoction, does that allow you to exceed the 75% block cap? I would guess no, but just curious since it is very easy to exceed 75% uncapped if you have the Flask Effect Nodes.

Same question regarding Vaal Grace and the Dodge cap of 75%, although it's not a factor unless you have Acrobatics.

No in both cases. They can only exceed the cap when it specifically states that they give +x to maximum block/dodge.

The dodge cap was actually implemented right before vaal grace was released. It's the only way to reach the cap currently.

Caps are called caps for a reason. They can only be raised by things that say + to max whatever.

Ahh - the reason I asked was that I didn't remember there being a Dodge cap before, but I checked the wiki right before I posted and there was one. Thanks for clearing that up.

Dodge is capped at 75%.

Block chance is capped at 75%.

The chance to block spells is also capped at 75%. The only exception comes from the unique The Anvil which raises the cap to 78%.
