I'm sorry to hear there's been an issue here. As Lagwin1980 said, we can try help you out with the errors you're experiencing if you let us know what they are.

We can also allow you to log in to the standalone client as well if you send a message to our Support account. In it, could you provide us with an email address you would like assigned to your account?

Depending on the error you're getting, switching to the standalone client won't necessarily fix what's happening, but something you can try now is verifying the integrity of your game cache on Steam.
