Voidhome 3D Art Amazing

So Voidhome finally got a 3D art. I was happy when I saw it - since it is my favorite weapon. Now that I took a closer look at the thing (it's pulsating and looks very organic) I came to realize that this is not your ordinary metal forged hammer.

So what is Voidhome? Is there some lore about it? Is it some demonic weapon forged out of evil Thaumaturgy?
